Volunteer Impact Program

V.I.P. Launch

Our Volunteer Impact Program seeks to identify marginalized residents from Toronto Community Housing and train them for leadership roles within their communities and or employment opportunities with our network of business suppliers. Many of our volunteers have thus far transitioned over to serve as community leaders.

Our volunteers will have access to opportunities such as:
- Food Handlers Course
- Cooking opportunities
- Verbal De-escalation
-Anti Oppression and Equitable Practices and much more

Big Mike Legacy Award
This year, we proudly introduced the Big Mike Legacy Award to honor extraordinary individuals who embody community spirit and dedication. The inaugural recipients, Val and Uris, exemplify the values that this award celebrates. Representing our VIP (Volunteers Impacting People) program, they have made an indelible impact through their tireless efforts and unwavering commitment to serving others. Val and Uris's contributions reflect the heart of what it means to create meaningful change in our community. Congratulations to both for this well-deserved recognition!
